We are a locally owned company. Our closets are manufactured at our factory right here in New Jersey.
Yes! Alcove Closets uses a modular system. That means the closet is made up of multiple unique closet units (modules) that can be replaced down the road.

Alcove Closets are wall mounted through cleats into the wall studs.
Our manufacturing time is typically 3-5 business days. So your closet can usually be installed in your home within 1-2 weeks of ordering.
Yes we do. The final financing plan and interest rate will depend on your credit score. This can be determined during the design consultation.
The final price includes the cost of the closet as well as installation.
Each closet is unique and the cost will depend on multiple factors, such as the size of space, the room the closet is for, the finish you will use, amount of drawers, etc.
Still, cost for a reach in closet typically ranges from $1,000 - $2,500.
Cost for a walk-in closet can range from $2,500 - $12,000 depending on the size.
Cost for mudroom closets range from $1,000 - $5,000 depending on the size and other factors.
Cost for pantry closets range fom $700 - $2,500 depending on the size and other factors.
We currently do not have closet options for home libraries and wine rooms.

After filling out the form, we will contact you to schedule a time for the in-home consultation. The design consultation is free of charge! At the consultation, the in-home designer will assess your needs and design the perfect closet for your space. Once you’re satisfied with your design, we complete the purchase, schedule your installation, and send your closet design to our factory for manufacturing.
The designer will meet with you in your home to discuss your needs and aspirations for your space and take professional measurements. After that, the designer will design a solution for your space, using our proprietary 3D closet design software. You will have the option to make unlimited revisions until you’re completely satisfied with your design. During the consultation, you will have the option to design multiple closets and you do not have to schedule a separate visit for each closet.
The design consultation is typically 45 minutes to an hour.

Yes, our custom closet products are made from high-quality, low-emission wood materials that comply with the strictest formaldehyde safety standards, including the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Phase 2 and the U.S. EPA TSCA Title VI regulations. These standards limit formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products, ensuring they are safe for residential use.
Formaldehyde is a naturally occurring chemical in wood, but high levels of emissions can pose health risks. That's why we carefully source materials from certified manufacturers who undergo regular testing to meet or exceed safety requirements. Our customers can rest assured that our products are both durable and safe for their homes.
